Tour, Merch, Pictures and things

Matty and I have had rather a busy month with gigs. Well, going to gigs, Which is unlike us.
But in this case, theres a very good exception.


Matty band Science vs Romance toured with an IMMENSE band, Circa Survive, about two years ago. The other supporting band were scottish darlings Twin Atlantic.

Recently signed with Red bull, yep - THE red bull, the only guys with all the $$ at the moment, theyre doing rather well for themselves.
Their latest tour has been pretty good going so far im lead to believe. Matty and I went along to 3 shows, Stoke Sugarmill, Birmingham Hare & Hounds & lastly Southampton Joiners. Well worth all the driving though, those guys put on a pretty immense show.

Stoke was exciting, havent seen the guys for MONTHS, and and and after the gig, upstairs hidden away nicely was a pretty nifty rooftop bar where we hung out for a while.


Birmingham, Matt & I took a load of pictures which was fun, but whilst a nice opening to 'Better Weather' I stood in a pretty great spot for pictures, BAD spot for my ears. Right by the speaker as the boys went on with the song & made lots of noise to keep my ears ringing for hours, literally. 48 hours.


Southampton was abit chaotic, so we jumped behind the merch table to attend to all the adoring fans waiting to spend their student loan on CD's & tshirts & made a tidy penny for the lads.

Driving home was pretty harsh after southampton, matty helped the guys load out after the gig so we headed home at around 2.30 (dentist time, ha) so a 2.5hr drive, was already looking pretty shitty. Luckily - we had sammiches prepared! sadly though, the sammich high didnt last quite long enough because before we were 25 miles down the road, i spyd the services & took a cat knap. unfortunately, tiredness wasn't going away so another 50 miles down the road I had to stop AGAAAAIN, turning our journey into a good 4 hour jobby. Finally got in at 6am, matty had golf at 8am so he spent most of today sleeping like a baby, but a little hairy-er.

OHH, twin altantic have these crafty download cards which give you access to some free songs and these magic cards have seeds inside them! it all ties up with their recently release mini-album Vivarium, which you should go and buy.
